Why this event matters
The Trans Africa Investment Summit (TAIS) 2026 will take place from 4–6 November 2026 at Silver Springs Hotel in Kampala, Uganda. Hosted by Pilot International and powered by the Women Entrepreneurship Forum Africa (WEFA),the annual summit connects businesses, investors and institutions to explore trade, investment and partnerships across Africa and the diaspora.
Under the theme “Powering Africa with Renewable Energy to Foster Collaboration Between Africa and the Diaspora,” the summit explores how renewable energy can support business growth across economic sectors. Discussions will span infrastructure, agriculture and food value chains, technology and entrepreneurship, connecting energy investment with productive industries, enterprise development and access to markets.
Pilot International and WEFA draw on a wider ecosystem representing more than 2,000 small and medium-sized enterprises across Africa and the diaspora. The summit provides a meeting point for entrepreneurs, investors, exporters, importers and suppliers to explore potential clients, commercial partnerships and investment opportunities.
Organisations can participate as delegates, partners or exhibitors, with opportunities to showcase products and services, engage potential investors and clients, and build commercial relationships. For enterprises seeking financing, market access or regional expansion, the summit offers a platform to explore connections across Uganda, East Africa and the wider continent.
